What we handle

Hard drives
After thirty years of acquisitions, only three manufacturers still make hard drives. Everything that came before is below, under historic brands.
SSD and flash
An SSD fails differently from a hard drive: no clicking heads, but a controller that locks itself. That takes different tools and often an X-ray image.
NAS and network storage
With a NAS the problem is not the drive but the array. Every manufacturer does RAID slightly differently, and a wrong rebuild is final.
Server and enterprise
Hardware RAID controllers write their own metadata. Without knowing the structure, all you see is raw blocks.
External and portable
Often with encryption in the enclosure, which means taking the drive out is not enough. The bridge belongs with it.
That rarely means it cannot be done. We handle media from manufacturers that never made a name, and from brands gone for thirty years.
